Orlando Espinosa III, Principal

Background
Orlando's career spans 30 years in the foodservice industry with his most recent experience as Vice President of Design for the ARAMARK Corporation, the country's largest in-house design organization with over 100 employees handling 500 plus diverse assignments for the education, sports and entertainment, business and healthcare industries. Under his leadership, the department achieved $60 million in goods and services volume and over $300 million in project value in Fiscal 2004. His background includes architectural, interior and foodservice facilities design for the foodservice industry of all sizes, shapes and applications including multiple summer and winter Olympics in several countries.

During Orlando's career he has had personal responsibility for the design implementation of some of the most unique and complex foodservice facilities both nationally and internationally. His prior experience also includes leadership positions with the Greyhound Food Management Company.

Olympic Experience
As VP for ARAMARK’s Design Solutions Orlando held responsibility for the overall programming and management of design services for the following Olympic activities:

Winter Games 1994 Lillehammer, Norway 1998 Nagano, Japan 2002 Salt Lake City, Utah

Summer Games 1992 Barcelona, Spain 1996 Atlanta, Georgia 2000 Sydney, Australia 2004 Athens, Greece

Salt Lake City, Atlanta, and Sydney were personally programmed and designed by Mr. Espinosa. In Athens he was responsible for all facets of the implementation of foodservices at the athlete’s village including construction and fit out of a 4000 square meter central production and distribution kitchen, 1000 square meter satellite kitchen and 6 satellite facilities. In addition Mr. Espinosa oversaw the design and implementation of 10 NBC satellite dining facilities.

Project Highlights
JP Morgan, New York, New York – Master planning assignment and conversion from a subsidized foodservice to a P&L operation at all 5 NYC locations.
Sprint Corporation, Overland Park, Kansas – Master planning and implementation of the new Sprint World Headquarters campus facilities in Kansas City, Kansas including three themed restaurants, two Java City Bistros, two Convenience stores and an executive restaurant and catering facility.
Disney Corporation, Kissimmee, Florida – Master planning and complete renovation and conversion of 22 self-operated subsidized foodservice outlets to a P&L operation (Spring 1998). Master planning and upgrade of 27 P&L operations to increase participation and
improve profitability (Summer 2003).
Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia – Participated in the development of the master
planning for the foodservices component on 5, 10 and 20 year segments for the university’s road map to the future. Provided implementation of years 1 – 10 in facilities renovation and upgrades.
Anderson Consulting, London, England - provided foodservice design and construction
expertise in the re-engineering of the operating contract and in the renovation of these
facilities into a “Market” concept that operated at a nil subsidy.
British Petroleum, Sunbury, England - Managed the “Fresh Eyes” audit and conversion
of this corporate dining facility that became the flagship for BP dining facilities in the UK.
